Hello, everyone! I’m Elise.

I’m a Remedial Massage Therapist and I have recently joined the wonderful team at Naturally Massage & Wellness.

Can you believe it is already February? It doesn’t take long for our schedules to fill up, whether it is long work hours, family or study commitments, or the impending busy festival season.

It can sometimes feel as though there aren’t enough hours in the day!

One thing that many of us don’t account for in our busy schedules is looking after our mental and emotional health.

So often, we put everyone and everything else first, and then find ourselves trying to catch up on our own energy and happiness throughout the year.

This can leave us feeling stressed and can even lead to more serious concerns such as burn-out.

We can also experience physiological concerns associated with stress, including muscle tightness and pain.

Over the past few years, I have experienced many physiological and emotional problems associated with stress.

Thankfully, I have been able to make some lifestyle changes, including scheduling in regular massages for myself.

I love having this dedicated time in my schedule to help manage stress and look after my physical health.

I am sharing my experiences with you, in case you have been feeling a little overwhelmed, or are experiencing muscle pain or tightness that we can help you with.

Massage therapy can assist us to manage our feelings of stress, and associated muscle pain and tightness.

This treatment method has been demonstrated to help us reset our nervous and emotional states to better be able to heal, rest and recover.

Remedial massage, in particular, is effective in addressing many ongoing pain concerns, such as sore neck and shoulders, tightness in the back and sore legs.

If you think that you or someone you know could benefit from a massage, give our friendly team a call to discuss your concerns and book in.

We can help you to prioritize looking after yourself in 2020.

I look forward to meeting you, to help you feel better and move easier.
