10% off to care for your hands and wrists We’re offering you 10% off any remedial hand and wrist massage appointments booked during February. Have you ever taken the time to think about how hard your hands and wrists are working? Our hands, wrists, and forearms constantly bear the brunt of our daily activities more than we might realise. From the constant use of our phones, typing at desk jobs and caring for our little ones to the repetitive tasks in almost every profession, repetitive strain can significantly impact our quality of life and work productivity. We understand the toll it takes on your body, especially since our profession demands so much from our hands too! We thought it was time to let you in on a little industry secret – remedial hand and wrist massage is a game-changer! The Root of the Problem Repetitive motions or prolonged positions that put stress on areas such as hands, wrists, thumbs are forearms might include: -Desk/mouse work -Holding your phone or iPad for extended periods of time -Holding and using tools; dentists, hairdressers, tradies, sugeons, nurses, beauty therapists, chefs -Gardening, especially using secateurs, hedge trimmers and chainsaws -House duties; mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, chopping, cooking etc. (we know that list is endless!) Over time, this can lead to conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, and general aches and pains that not only hurt but can also limit your ability to perform your job or engage in daily activities. How Remedial Massage Helps Whether it’s as simple as noticing your arms and hands are a bit achy, or you are getting pain in the thumbs, hands, wrists, and forearms, massage can get into all of those sore areas and help relieve the tightness and tension that builds and reduce that pain that coincides with that tightness! Here’s how it can make a difference: Reduces Inflammation and Swelling: Firm and effective massage techniques help stimulate blood circulation, facilitating the removal of toxins and reducing inflammation in the affected areas. Eases Muscle Tension: By focusing on the muscles and tendons that are overused during repetitive tasks, remedial massage can alleviate tension and tightness, providing much-needed relief. Improves Flexibility and Range of Motion: Regular remedial massage sessions can enhance the flexibility of your hands, wrists, and forearms, preventing stiffness and making daily tasks more manageable. Promotes Healing: Improved circulation not only helps in reducing pain but also promotes the natural healing processes of the body, aiding in the recovery of tissue damage caused by repetitive strain. Tailored to Your Needs It’s important to remember that your pain and/or injury is unique—especially when it comes to professions that demand so much from our hands and arms. That’s why we work closely with you to develop a personalised treatment plan that addresses your specific needs and goals. Whether you’re experiencing the early signs of strain or dealing with chronic pain, we’re here to support your journey to recovery. Prevention is Key In addition to providing relief from existing conditions, we’re also passionate about helping you prevent future injuries. As always, we can offer advice on regularity of treatment to maintain relief and stretching techniques to maintain flexibility and reduce the risk of repetitive strain injuries.
